Terms of Service
Last updated August 26, 2026
These Terms govern use of tapeOS, operated by Xcelerate Recruiting. If your program has a separately signed pilot agreement, order form, or other written agreement with us, that agreement controls wherever it conflicts with these Terms.
Authorized use
tapeOS is intended for authorized coaches, staff, analysts, and other football-program personnel. If you use tapeOS on behalf of a program or school, you confirm you have the authority to do so on its behalf.
Your access
You are responsible for safeguarding your access to tapeOS and for telling us promptly at admin@tapeos.ai if you suspect someone else is using it.
Program content
“Program content” means the film-related information, breakdowns, tags, terminology, program information, and other content you provide or connect through tapeOS.
Your program owns its content. You grant us only the rights reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the service for you. We do not take ownership of your film, and we do not take a perpetual license to it.
Your responsibilities
- Having the appropriate rights to the content you connect or use
- Using tapeOS lawfully
- Maintaining your own authorization to any third-party systems you connect
- Reviewing proposed changes before approving them, where tapeOS gives you a review step
Third-party services
tapeOS may work with information or workflows involving third-party services such as Hudl. Those services are governed by their own terms and may change independently of tapeOS. tapeOS is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Hudl unless expressly stated otherwise.
AI-assisted functionality
Parts of tapeOS use AI to read and summarize what your staff has charted. AI-assisted output can occasionally be incomplete or incorrect, so apply your own coaching judgment. Where tapeOS presents an answer, it also shows the snaps and counts behind it so you can check the evidence yourself.
tapeOS Capture
Capture assists users in entering or proposing breakdown information. Where Capture presents an approval step, the user is responsible for reviewing the proposed information before approving it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access tapeOS or any account without authorization
- Attempt to access another program’s data
- Circumvent security or access controls
- Use tapeOS unlawfully, or to upload malware or interfere with the service
- Use content you do not have the rights to use
Our intellectual property
We retain ownership of the tapeOS software, brand, interfaces, and underlying technology. You retain ownership of your program content.
Pilot and evolving functionality
tapeOS is in active development with pilot programs. Some functionality is offered as pilot, beta, or preview, and may change as the product develops. We will tell you when something is at that stage.
Fees
Where tapeOS is provided as a paid service, the fees and payment terms are set out in a separate written agreement.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, a security threat, a legal requirement, or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical we will tell you first.
Warranty and liability
tapeOS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
Governing law
The governing law and venue for these Terms are set out in the written agreement between us where one exists. Otherwise, contact us at admin@tapeos.ai.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as tapeOS develops, and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Questions: admin@tapeos.ai.
